A soccer ball may be made of different materials. Each one is adapted to a type of play. The most common bullet is the rubber football. It may also be made of PVC. They are particularly resistant. But they are mainly suitable for slippery floors, like grass.
Another popular material for the production of footballs is polyurethane. It is a high quality material: it makes the ball less slippery, which allows better control at the foot.
There are five balloon sizes. They correspond to the standards established by the Football Association, FIFA.
Each one of these sizes corresponds to an age, or practice. The goal is that players can acquire the means to play with a ball that is neither too big nor too small.
Size 5 is the most common. These balloons have a circumference of between 68 and 70 cm. They cater to an audience of more than 13 years. Size 4 includes the circumferences of between 63 and 66 cm. It is dedicated to children from 7 to 13 years.
3 the size is the smallest regards fully dedicated football accessories. With footballs between 57 and 60 cm, it is for younger children under 7 years.
The last two ball sizes, give mini-balls that cater to special practices, such as mini-football.
